Continuous Improvement Engineer
As a Continuous Improvement Engineer, you will play a key role in implementing Lean Manufacturing strategies across the production facility. You will focus on driving process optimization, improving key performance indicators, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Lean manufacturing initiatives aimed at improving plant productivity and inventory rotation.
• Develop and implement Lean strategies in both administrative and product development processes.
• Ensure consistent application of Lean standards and tools, including 5S, TPM, and visual management.
• Facilitate daily Lean meetings with operational teams.
• Monitor and report on key manufacturing KPIs, ensuring long-term sustainability of improvements.
• Plan and lead Lean workshops and improvement activities.
• Apply tools such as VSM, SMED, Kanban, Heijunka using a risk-based approach.
• Organize and promote Kaizen Events aligned with site-level improvement plans.
• Share Lean knowledge and best practices across all organizational levels.
• Act as a change agent, supporting the company's journey toward a Lean culture.
Required Qualifications:
• University degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification is considered an advantage.
Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in production, quality, or Lean-focused roles.
• Proven experience with Lean tools and techniques: Kaizen, Kanban, 5S, SMED, TPM, root cause analysis.
• Strong background in process analysis and improvement (e.g., value stream mapping, business process mapping).
Technical & Interpersonal Skills:
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing process optimization.
• Proficiency in Lean methodologies such as VSM, Standard Work, Line Balancing, and Visual Management.
• Hands-on experience with TPM and SMED.
• ERP system proficiency (SAP is a plus).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong stakeholder management abilities across all levels of the organization.
• Strategic planning and negotiation skills.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required.
