Outbound Cold Caller (Remote, English, US Hours)
I run Upwind, an outbound calling agency in the US. We make cold calls on behalf of software and AI companies, and we are adding callers to the team.
The work is straightforward and it is hard to do well. You call a list of business people in the United States, you get the ones who pick up into a real conversation, and you book them into a meeting with our client. You are not reading a script at a stranger and hoping it lands. We write the script with you, we listen to the calls, and we change what is not working.
WHAT THE JOB INVOLVES
Roughly 100 to 250 dials per day on a dialer we provide.
Calling US business hours, which means afternoons and evenings in Bulgaria.
Logging every call and every outcome accurately, because our client reporting depends on it.
A weekly call with me or our ops lead to go through recordings and fix what is not landing.
WHAT YOU NEED
English that holds up on the phone with an American executive. Clear, natural, and comfortable being interrupted. This is the whole job and it is what we screen hardest on.
Previous phone sales, appointment setting, or call center experience. Outbound preferred, but a strong inbound background counts.
A quiet room, a reliable internet connection, and a decent headset.
The temperament for it. Most people say no, and you have to be as fine with that on call ninety as you were on call nine.
PAY
$6 USD per hour, paid as an independent contractor, plus a bonus for every qualified meeting that gets booked and held. Our best callers earn well above the base. Paid monthly in USD.
HOW TO APPLY
Apply here, and email a voice recording to [email protected]. It does not need to be produced, a phone memo is fine. Record yourself doing a cold call opener into a company that sells accounting software, about thirty seconds, and tell me in one or two sentences what your current or most recent calling job was.
I read every one. Applications without a voice recording will not be reviewed.
