HVAC Engineer
Position: HVAC Engineer – International Branch
Location: Sofia, Bulgaria.
Reports to: Branch Manager / Project Manager
Job Description:
The HVAC Engineer is responsible for the design, supervision, and implementation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in commercial, industrial, and residential projects. The role involves working with international teams while maintaining high professional and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Design HVAC systems according to project requirements and local regulations.
- Prepare work plans, technical drawings, and engineering standards.
- Calculate thermal loads and recommend equipment, fans, and control systems.
- Supervise installation and testing of systems on-site.
- Update the branch manager on project status and progress.
- Ensure compliance with international standards and local regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Energy Engineering / HVAC Engineering.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HVAC design and supervision.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
- Familiarity with international standards and local regulations (as applicable).
- High-level English – spoken, written, and reading; knowledge of additional languages (eg, Russian) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and in a multicultural team.
- Willingness to travel and work on-site when required.
