About the role
We are looking for an OT Security Consultant with hands-on experience in industrial cybersecurity to join our specialised consulting team. You will work on real-world OT and ICS security engagements, supporting industrial operators and product manufacturers in improving their security posture and meeting European regulatory and compliance requirements.
This role is suited for professionals who already understand the fundamentals of OT security and want to deepen their consulting expertise in industrial environments, regulatory frameworks, and structured risk-based security programs.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct OT and ICS security assessments, including asset identification, risk analysis, and gap assessments
- Support clients in aligning their OT environments with industry standards such as IEC 62443 and relevant EU regulatory requirements, including the Cyber Resilience Act
- Contribute to the design and implementation of technical and organizational OT security controls
- Collaborate with engineering, IT, and management stakeholders to integrate cybersecurity requirements into industrial systems and operational processes
- Participate in threat modeling, vulnerability analysis, and security architecture discussions for industrial environments
- Prepare clear, structured documentation, including assessment reports, security concepts, asset inventories, and network diagrams
- Support audits, compliance activities, and client workshops as part of consulting engagements
What we are looking for
Required experience and skills
- 2–5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, OT security, industrial systems, or a closely related field
- Solid understanding of OT/ICS environments and industrial networking concepts
- Working knowledge of IEC 62443 or similar industrial cybersecurity standards
- Familiarity with cybersecurity risk management, security assessments, and compliance-driven projects
- Ability to communicate technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical mindset and structured approach to problem-solving
- Professional working proficiency in English
Strong advantages
- Experience in regulated industrial sectors such as energy, manufacturing, oil and gas, or critical infrastructure
- Exposure to European cybersecurity or product compliance frameworks
- German language skills (strong advantage, not mandatory)
