R&D Engineer

Due to the large workload of our client, we are looking for:

R&D Engineer

Main responsibilities

Product development (innovation and/or optimization projects)

· Participate in the development and implementation of new products at the production site, ensuring quality and stability of the product portfolio across the entire supply chain.

· Execute test protocols for implementing new packaging/ingredients/recipes in the laboratory and on production lines.

· Summarize and share results through technical reports and data archiving.

· Create and maintain an up-to-date R&D database with technical specifications (specifications, drawings, certificates).

· Ensure timely communication for maximum transparency and efficiency before and after testing with all involved parties.

Building expertise

· Possess a good understanding of the product portfolio and how products are processed at the production site—from raw materials to finished product across the entire logistics chain.

· Have solid knowledge of laboratory technologies used for product evaluation.

· Accumulate and document knowledge about packaging, ingredients, materials, and production lines.

· Share knowledge and experience with colleagues in product and packaging development.

· Proactively challenge and improve existing ways of working to increase productivity and quality of results.

Required education and experience for the position

Qualifications:

· Master’s degree in engineering in a relevant technical field, including chemistry, food science, packaging, materials science, or an equivalent qualification gained through experience.

· Bachelor’s degree in “Food Technology and Quality” or “Technology, Control and Quality of Beverages”.

Professional experience:

· 3 to 5 years of experience in research and development (R&D).

· Experience/knowledge of working in a production environment and laboratory.

· Experience in the beverage industry is considered an advantage.
