English language teacher

St. Kliment College is seeking to hire a freelance English language teacher under a civil contract to deliver English language courses for adults in an online learning format.

• University degree in English Philology or a related field.

• Proven experience in teaching English both online and in person.

• Experience working with adult learners at advanced levels (C1 and C2).

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

• Proficiency in using online teaching platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, Moodle, etc.

• Training in English language teaching methodology (Master's degree, TEFL, DELTA, or equivalent) is highly recommended.

• Planning and delivering engaging online English lessons tailored to adult learners, including advanced-level (C1 and C2) groups.

• Developing and adapting teaching materials to meet learners’ needs.

• Monitoring student progress and providing constructive, individualised feedback.

• Maintaining accurate records related to teaching and attendance.

• Collaborating with the course coordinator and participating in academic meetings when necessary.

• Contract type: Civil contract (freelance basis)

• Remuneration: 27 BGN per astronomical hour
