To support their expanding team in Sofia, we are looking for an organized professional for the role of Accountant with German. The position offers a hybrid work model and combines daily operational accounting with opportunities to participate in process digitalization.

Accountant with German

Responsibilities of the role:

• Ensure accurate posting of bank statements and accounts payable transactions;
• Handle accrual-related business transactions and general ledger entries;
• Verify travel expenses;
• Support the preparation and submission of VAT returns;
• Contribute to monthly and quarterly reporting;
• Assist in implementing a new digital data room and optimize documentation flows.

Desired skills and experience:

• Commercial or economic education with 1 to 5 years of professional experience in accounting;
• Solid experience with accounts payable postings, bank statements, and general ledger transactions;
• Professional fluency in both German and English (minimum B2 level);
• A responsible and detail-oriented approach with a proactive mindset;
• Previous experience in a Shared Services Center environment is considered an advantage.
