Sr. Digital Accountant

We are currently looking for a Senior Accountant for one of our clients, an accountancy and financial services company. The accountant will be responsible for a portfolio of 35+ small and medium operational companies and manage their accounting, payroll and tax compliance with a high level of independence. The role requires strong technical competence, sound professional judgement and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities with structure and discipline.

Main Responsibilities:
- Manage the full monthly and annual accounting, tax and payroll cycle
- Prepare corporate tax calculations and year-end closing
- Make routine compliance decisions independently
- Escalate unusual or high-risk tax matters when necessary

Technical Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Bulgarian tax legislation (VAT, corporate tax, payroll)
- Strong knowledge of Bulgarian accounting standards or IFRS
- Proven experience managing a full accounting cycle independently
- Experience handling multiple clients simultaneously
- Fluent English

Digital & System Competence:
- Ability to quickly learn and navigate new digital tools and software
- Structured deadline management
- Comfortable working in process-driven digital environments
