Accounts Payable Specialist (Supply Chain Operations)
Main duties for the role:
In this role, you will resolve invoice discrepancies related to pricing, quantities, goods receipts, and incomplete documentation. You have to analyze mismatches at both the purchase order and supplier levels to identify root causes. In addition, you have to identify recurring problems, maintain accurate documentation, and support reporting activities. Moreover, you will serve as a key point of contact for suppliers, ensuring clear and timely communication. Last but not least, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Tech) and external vendors to resolve outstanding issues.
Essential requirements for the role:
- University degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Accounting and Control, Business Administration, Economics, or a closely related specialty;
- 3+ years of experience in the Procure to Pay field in SSC or an international company environment;
- Deep understanding of the purchase-to-pay process and supply management;
- Some experience with SAP (MM module) or similar ERP systems;
- Experience working with MS Office applications, especially MS Excel;
- Ability to work independently with a proactive, solution-driven mindset and solid grasp of business processes;
- Very good command of English (B2 level or higher);
- Knowledge of the German language is a great advantage, but it is not mandatory;
