About us
We are a family run company that have been in business since 1996, currently we have 40 trucks and 75 trailers, we mostly do Supermarket Distribution for Big Name companies around the Munster and Connaught regions of Ireland, there are no nights out or sleeping in the truck as each truck and driver are back to base after their shift, we provide company vehicles to drivers to go to and from their depot of work, we can also help with accommodation as in a room to yourself in a mobile home shared with another driver from the company. . We also provide on the job training, manual handling training, and electric pallet truck training free of charge to all new drivers
Responsibilities
Loading at Customers distribution centre and delivering through the night to supermarkets as per your manifest, collecting any empty pallets, trays or returns and returning them to the respective distribution centre, checking with your manager when your run is finished and completing all paperwork correctly
Requirements and necessary skills
Applicants must be over 25 and have a full European C+E driving license for at least 1 year, have a valid digital tachograph card and valid driver cpc card and all cpc modules up to date, you must be able to speak and communicate in English and fill out paperwork in English, We offer Competitive salary, full in house training, manual handling and electric pallet truck training free of charge,
Previous Supermarket distribution experience is desirable but not essential as full on the job training is provided
