Facility Technician

Your future job:

As a Facility Technician at Melexis, you will ensure the smooth daily operation of our facility systems and support the overall functionality of our 22,000 sq.m. R&D and chip testing site.

You will play a key hands-on role in maintaining the building’s infrastructure, utilities, and environmental standards.

More specifically, you will:

• Perform daily checks of key systems - Nitrogen, Compressed air, diesel generator, HVAC, Gas system, BMS, etc.
• Act as first-line responder to issues with facility systems and manage related facility tickets.
• Carry out small electrical and low-voltage reworks and ensure regular compliance checks in the EPA environments.
• Support the maintenance and documentation of CNG, Fire Safety, Security, Lifts, and Greening systems.
• Help coordinate external suppliers for maintenance and inspection activities.
• Support waste management and recycling, and handle orders for personal safety workwear, detergents, and batteries.
• Assist in office and lab moves, renovations, and system upgrades.

Your profile:

• High school or University degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, HVAC, or equivalent.
• Good computer literacy (MS Office).
• Strong knowledge of electrical installations.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC and Building Management Systems (BMS) is a plus.
• Intermediate English level, verbal and written.
