Macroeconomic and Political Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Follow the economic and political situation in a given country/ies on a daily basis;
• Write short economic and political notes and long analytical pieces on hot topics in English;
• Collect macroeconomic data and maintain a database of indicators:
• Follow all important statistical publications and analyse the data;
• Answer clients’ questions on economic and political issues;
• Our headquarters are located in Sofia, Bulgaria but we work remotely;
• Working time is also flexible, we offer both full-time and part-time options;

Requirements:

• Knowledge of macroeconomics, monetary policy, fiscal policy and politics. Specific knowledge about emerging markets is considered a plus;
• Good analytical skills, attention to details and accuracy;
• Good command of English. Knowledge of other languages is considered a priority;
• Basic knowledge of working with MS Excel and MS Word;
• Ability to work under pressure and meet daily deadlines.
