For one of our clients, a Western European IT-company with a market-leading SaaS-Solution for a specific niche in eCommerce, we are currently searching for a capable and motivated

Head of Development

for their team. Workplace is in the center of Varna.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of software developers, data engineers and QA with a headcount of approximately twenty.
• To some extent coordination of contract and outsourced development teams (not on-site)
• Constant improvement of the production flow, e.g. automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability
• Assure that projects are delivered on time and budget
• As this is a hands-on role you will be expected to code and to hold the overall technical knowledge around solutions and platforms

• Experience with SaaS-releases in a role as a manager or architect
• Understanding of distributed and cloud computing
• Excellence in C# and Javascript (ideally React) – “hands on”
• Experience in designing microservices, messaging systems, Cloud Based APIs, NoSQL/RDBMS
• Able to manage and scale large development teams
• Proven leadership skills and a sound leadership philosophy
• Bulgarian language and fluent in English
• At least 8 years professional background as a software developers
