Sports Trading Analyst

Inplay Matrix is a sportsbook technology provider to the global sports betting industry.

We are looking for enthusiastic people to grow our new operations hub in Sofia, Bulgaria.

JOB OVERVIEW

As a sports trading analyst, you create and trade sports events on behalf of our betting operator clients. By ensuring event quality and managing risks, you help deliver a positive user experience to betting operators and their customers.

This role will be based in our new office in Sofia, Bulgaria.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up events, monitor quality and data accuracy, and verify results
• Manage event risk and trade events using automated models
• Monitor market prices, betting patterns and manage liabilities
• Identify and resolve or escalate operational and technical incidents in real time
• Coordinate with internal teams such as Compliance, IT, Product and with external vendors to deliver our services
• Analyse trading results and prepare reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong math and analytical skills especially in understanding probability
• University degree in an analytical field e.g. mathematics, science and engineering, is a plus
• Proficiency in MS Office Applications or equivalent especially Excel
• Knows the basic rules and regulations, teams and leagues of sports
• Fast learner and eager to learn
• Good written and spoken English language
• Flexible to work on shift schedule, including nights, weekends & public holidays
