Chief Payroll and Accounting Expert

Grove Global Consult is a consulting and recruitment agency, providing strategic consulting services in the areas of the private business sector worldwide. For one of our clients a fast-growing company, we are looking for a Chief Payroll and Accounting Expert.

Responsibilities:

Implementing, maintaining, and reviewing payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, bonuses, indexations, taxes, social securities, deductions, etc.

Maintaining personnel database regarding salaries

Ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice and facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors

Managing the timely processing of accounting transactions as needed

Participating in preparing of:

Financial reports, monthly and annual financial statements and management reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, preparing tax returns, and performing other accounting duties as assigned

Taking active part in the budgeting process and support the accounting team in the relevant month-end closing activities

Preparation of all legally required documents and reports to the NRA, NSI and other institutions

The perfect match would have:

3+ years of proven experience with you from a dynamic multinational environment

Higher education in Economics (Bachelor’s or Master’s), preferably in Accounting or Finance

Excellent knowledge of the Bulgarian Labor legislation

Excellent level of English

A strong background in the use of Payroll Software and MS Office

Ability to work in a challenging, dynamic and changing atmosphere

High attention to details

Positive attitude, collaborative, team player

Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines
