Currently, they are in the process of a large-scale digital transformation and would like to hire an experienced and visionary IT professional to lead this transformation. We are supporting them in this task to recruit their:


DIRECTOR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DEPT.


Some of the key responsibilities:

-You will lead the company’s digital transformation by developing and implementing an IT strategy aligned with business goals.
-You have to migrate from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, in partnership with the internal and external experts.
-You have to ensure the architecture, security, and resilience of IT systems, including integration with POS, CRM, and HR platforms.
-You will be involved in managing the internal teams (hardware and SAP administration) as well as external partners, including vendors and integration groups.
-Last but not least, you will collaborate closely with the senior management and Sales, Logistics, Marketing, and HR departments to align technological initiatives with strategic priorities.

Essential requirements for the role:

-University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or (Software) Engineering.
-Previous commercial experience as an IT Director, IT Manager or CIO, preferably in a retail organisation.
-5+ years of experience in strategic IT management, including enterprise-level system architectures and SAP environments.
-Hands-on experience in SAP implementation or migration projects, preferably to SAP S/4HANA.
-Strong understanding of system integration, data management, and IT security principles.
-Excellent leadership and communication skills.
-Understanding of retail or FMCG business processes.
-Very good command of English (B2 level) – written and spoken.
