Job Description:
- Actively participate in the development and execution of test cases for medical and laboratory automation products (life science applications)
- Plan, perform, and document testing activities in collaboration with cross-departmental teams as part of the product qualification and approval process
- Provide testing support across various R&D projects
- Design, implement, and maintain both automated and manual test cases for continuous integration and regression testing
- Conduct functional, integration, stress, and environmental tests on hardware prototypes and final products
- Collaborate closely with hardware, firmware, and software engineers to detect issues early and ensure designs are testable
- Contribute to root cause analyses and failure investigations using tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analysers, and signal generators
- Continuously enhance testing processes and contribute to building a reliable and efficient test infrastructure
- Take an active role in solving complex problems related to both the tested products and the test equipment
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with SAP is an asset
- Hands-on experience in product testing and operation of test measurement equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators)
- Practical knowledge of electrical signal measurement
- Proven experience in test automation development, ideally with TestStand, LabVIEW, or PLC programming
- Basic programming skills in Python or C# are an advantage
- Familiarity with statistical testing methods is a plus
