Junior Computer Programmer

WaveTech is currently expanding its development of edge-to-edge connected technologies including embedded and server-based applications based on leading software technologies, and is seeking an innovative, energetic Junior Computer Programmer to enrich our team!

Job Responsibilities:

Code and test software applications for embedded and server-based platforms.
Leverage telemetry and data storage techniques to build real-time and reflective services.
Execute well documented code builds in structured test/production environments.
Manage code deployments in a multi-team, global, critical systems environment.
Configure services for customer specific deployments.

This is a full-time position with occasional travel to company, vendor, and customer sites globally, and coordination with overseas development personnel daily. Salary is commensurate with experience and benefits include paid holidays and paid vacation leave.

Qualifications and Skills:

Energetic ability to innovate and think out of the box.
Understanding of object-oriented software.
Ability to write clean, well-documented code.
Excellent complex problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical reasoning skills.
Experience using Microsoft Office tools.
Ability to work as part of a team member.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field is a plus.
Experience with object-oriented programming languages (C++, Python, JavaScript).
Direct experience with communications protocols and IT/OT security a plus.
