Our client is a global innovation leader in premium automotive lighting and electronic systems, known for developing cutting-edge technologies that power the next generation of intelligent, high-performance lighting solutions for the world’s leading automotive brands.
We are seeking a highly analytical Purchasing & Controlling Specialist to support their Global Purchasing department by developing and maintaining robust reporting solutions. The role focuses on building high-quality Power BI dashboards, optimizing semantic models, and delivering clear, data-driven insights.
Main Responsibilities
• Develop, maintain, and enhance interactive Power BI dashboards and reports;
• Work with and deepen understanding of existing semantic models;
• Prepare and coordinate change requests for semantic models with the IT department;
• Create ad-hoc reports and conduct detailed analyses for the Global Purchasing team.
Requirements
• Strong expertise in Power BI Desktop & Service, including DAX and Power Query (M);
• Experience with Tabular models ( RLS/OLS);
• Solid foundation in data modeling: dimensional/fact design, star schema, KPI definition;
• Good command of SQL;
• Excellent communication skills for gathering requirements and clearly justify solutions;
• Strong UI/UX sense for dashboards and reports.
Nice-to-Have
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse/Warehouse, Direct Lake) or basic Azure knowledge;
• Experience with tools such as Tabular Editor, DAX Studio;
• Knowledge of Paginated Reports, Power Automate, or custom visuals;
• Basic understanding of SAP MM (Material Management).
