Market Development Manager – Export markets
We are looking for a Market Development Manager – Export markets.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Manages (directly or indirectly-through third parties/distributors) all trade channels in the geographic area for which responsible;
Analyses sales and trade activities in the business area and initiate business improvement proposals;
Plans sales, profits and investments in the area, prepares promotions and programs;
Negotiates trade conditions and promotion activities with key clients or distributors operating;
Carries quality and quantity checks on company products supplied in the business area;
Ensures all costs of the operations are adequately and accurately estimated and approved by the higher management;
Leads the preparation of the annual business plan for the area. Responsible for setting the price policy of the company for the area;
Works towards maximizing company results through close collaboration with the regional Brand Manager and the brand managers from the Global Marketing team;
Leads the pricing and budgeting. Responsible for the trade marketing budgets (as set in approved annual plan);
Responsible for managing the portfolio;
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG company in a similar Sales, KA or Trade Marketing position;
Experience in sales planning, sales management and managing budgets;
Written and spoken proficiency in English (C1);
Previous experience in Central European region is an advantage;
Skills and qualifications:
Strong analytical and organizational skills;
Clear verbal and written communication skills;
Negotiation skills;
Driving licence and willingness to travel out of the country (40-60 working days per year);
