English language teacher

St. Kliment College is seeking to hire a freelance English language teacher under a civil contract to deliver English language courses for adults in an online learning format.

Requirements:

University degree in English Philology or a related field.
Proven experience in teaching English both online and in person.
Experience working with adult learners at advanced levels (C1 and C2).
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Proficiency in using online teaching platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, Moodle, etc.
Training in English language teaching methodology (Master's degree, TEFL, DELTA, or equivalent) is highly recommended.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning and delivering engaging online English lessons tailored to adult learners, including advanced-level (C1 and C2) groups.
Developing and adapting teaching materials to meet learners’ needs.
Monitoring student progress and providing constructive, individualised feedback.
Maintaining accurate records related to teaching and attendance.
Collaborating with the course coordinator and participating in academic meetings when necessary.
