Delivery Program Manager – Sports Betting
Workster is partnering with a fast-growing international technology company within the sports betting and iGaming industry to recruit a Delivery Program Manager for their team in Sofia, Bulgaria.
This is a key role responsible for driving the successful delivery of complex technology programs and product initiatives across multiple teams. You will connect Product, Engineering, QA, Operations, and business stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered effectively while maintaining clear priorities, timelines, dependencies, and communication.
Your Role- Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex technology programs and strategic initiatives
- Manage multiple projects and workstreams across Product, Engineering, QA, DevOps, and Operations
- Define program scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and delivery plans
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure alignment around priorities and expected outcomes
- Identify and manage risks, dependencies, blockers, and delivery challenges
- Maintain clear visibility of program progress and provide regular updates to senior stakeholders
- Facilitate planning sessions, status meetings, retrospectives, and other delivery ceremonies
- Work closely with Product and Engineering leadership to translate business priorities into actionable delivery plans
- Ensure teams have clear requirements, ownership, priorities, and delivery expectations
- Monitor delivery performance and identify opportunities to improve speed, predictability, and efficiency
- Manage dependencies between internal teams, external partners, and third-party technology providers
- Support release planning and coordinate major product and platform launches
- Establish and continuously improve program governance, reporting, and delivery processes
- Use data and delivery metrics to identify bottlenecks and support decision-making
- Promote effective Agile practices while adapting delivery methodologies to the needs of each project
- Drive accountability and ensure stakeholders remain aligned throughout the delivery lifecycle
- 5+ years of experience in Program Management, Delivery Management, Technical Project Management, or a similar role
- Proven experience delivering large-scale technology or software development programs
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience coordinating multiple Engineering, Product, QA, and Operations teams
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid delivery methodologies
- Experience managing complex project dependencies, risks, resources, and timelines
- Strong working knowledge of tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong stakeholder management and executive-level communication skills
- Excellent organisational, prioritisation, and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable managing multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced technology environment
- Data-driven approach to delivery management and continuous improvement
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence teams without direct authority
- Excellent command of English
- PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum, SAFe, or similar certifications are an advantage
- Previous experience within sports betting, iGaming, fintech, or another high-transaction technology environment is highly advantageous
- Strategic delivery role within a growing international sports betting technology company
