We are looking for a Senior Go / Kubernetes Engineer to join a project for a client in the telecommunications domain. The role focuses on building Kubernetes-native solutions for Cloud, edge, and bare-metal infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on Go development, Kubernetes Operators, automation, and distributed systems.

Job Description:

• Design and develop Kubernetes Operators and Controllers in Go for infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management
• Build cloud-native backend services and Kubernetes-native APIs
• Design and implement CRDs and controller reconciliation logic
• Develop integrations across infrastructure, networking, and platform components
• Build automation for bare-metal and edge Kubernetes environments
• Contribute to Kubernetes-native solutions supporting security and AI/ML use cases
• Participate in architecture and technical design decisions
• Develop unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
• Debug and troubleshoot Go applications and Kubernetes controllers
• Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and engineering standards

Requirements:

• 5+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years of hands-on Go development
• Strong knowledge of idiomatic Go, Go Modules, concurrency, error handling, and software design principles
• Experience developing long-running backend services, controllers, or distributed applications in Go
• Experience with REST and/or gRPC APIs
• Strong experience with automated testing in Go
• Hands-on experience developing Kubernetes Operators or Custom Controllers in Go
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes APIs, CRDs, reconciliation patterns, and controller lifecycle
• Practical experience with controller-runtime, client-go, Kubebuilder and/or Operator SDK
• Experience with bare-metal, cloud-managed, or distributed/edge Kubernetes environments
• Good understanding of cloud, edge, infrastructure, networking, and distributed systems
• Experience with containerized applications
• Ability to collaborate across infrastructure, networking, security, and AI/ML teams
• Excellent command of English
