Our client delivers advanced lithography solutions that help semiconductor manufacturers produce chips at scale. They are seeking a Senior Python Software Engineer to collaborate with teams in Bulgaria and the Netherlands on the development and enhancement of complex software systems.
Job Description:
- Design and maintain end-to-end data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and storage
- Integrate multiple data sources and develop data transformations to enhance data quality and usability
- Ensure data accuracy, reliability, and availability while monitoring and troubleshooting pipeline issues
- Build and maintain high-performance REST APIs using Python
- Develop and support Azure-based data platforms, Data Warehouses, and ETL/ELT processes
- Collaborate with data analytics teams to deliver scalable data solutions
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on developing Python-based web applications and REST APIs (Django, Flask, FastAPI)
- Excellent English level (both written and verbal)
- Strong knowledge of OOP, ORM, SQL, and data processing using Pandas, NumPy, PySpark, or similar tools
- Experience building secure, scalable applications and optimizing performance
- Understanding of Big data technologies and Data engineering practices
- Experience with Azure Cloud services, including Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, and storage solutions
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and distributed/Cloud computing environments
- Previous experience in Data Engineering, preferably within the Microsoft ecosystem
