Roles and responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to customers and our business partners via the web, email and phone.
- Collaborate closely with team members from support, engineering and product management to resolve customer issues, advocate product enhancements, bug fixes, provide feedback on important features, product gaps and supportability matters.
- Lead and/or participate in customer issues, feedback and enhancement requests in ticket-tracking system
- Provide product feedback and help to drive product improvements forward by working closely with product management and engineering in multiple locations
Participate in cross-functional initiatives and other projects as needed
Experience and expertise:
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
- Good understanding of German (both written and spoken)
- Ability to think logically and use sound judgement to escalate issues as needed;
A good understanding of how software works
Excellent listening and questioning skills, combined with the ability to interact confidently with clients to establish what the problem is and explain the solution.
Knowledge of SQL server and/or PostgreSQL database
Knowledge of Linux or UNIX variants and/or Windows Servers (2008 & 2012)
Superior researching, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Adaptability to work independently and part of a team
Excellent customer service skills
- Prior customer service or support experience required
- Passion for technology and learning
