Senior Accountant

We are collaborating with a global leader in technology and supply chain solutions to support the growth of their locally-based international accounting teams, and are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join their team.

Main responsibilities:
• Provide support for general ledger and accounting tasks for a group of entities, ensuring smooth day-to-day accounting operations;
• Calculate and prepare month-end accruals, including creating corresponding manual journal entries;
• Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes;
• Ensure timely and accurate financial closing and account reconciliation;
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations;
• Prepare monthly and ad-hoc financial reports, presenting results with a high level of accuracy;
• Collaborate with other departments and local finance managers as needed to resolve issues.

Requirements:
• A university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
• At least 3 years of professional experience within Accounting;
• Experience within an international organization, applying the Generally Approved Accounting Principles will be considered an advantage;
• Experience with performing financial analysis, and using ERP systems;
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel;
• Strong English language skills (B2 level or higher).
