QA Engineer

Madisoft Bulgaria OOD is a software development company established in 2011. We collaborate with a leading international company in the development of software products for advanced technological equipment used in clinical diagnostics, scientific research and labs workflow automation.

We are seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) engineer for a 6-month contract to help maintain and improve the quality of our software products

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Work on projects in an Agile development model;
- Analyze requirements, user stories and test plans; develop test cases;
- Attend daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint planning and demo meetings;
- Attend weekly team meetings in our office in Sofia;
- Prepare test plans, create and execute test cases;
- Report defects and verify bug fixes in a bug tracking system;
- Provides monthly reports to Madisoft manager

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

- BS or MS or currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Electronic systems or equivalent experience
- At least 3 years of QA experience (web application testing)
- Experience with Azure DevOps or other tracking systems
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Ability to work independently and remotely in an international team
- Good communication skills
- Understanding of QA and release processes
- Good written and spoken English
