Senior full-stack engineer (Python / JS)

About us:

We are building a next-generation robo-advisor that leverages AI and modern portfolio theory to make investing in global financial markets simple, transparent, and accessible. As our first technical hire, you will own the product from architecture to deployment, and play a key role in shaping the company’s future.

Responsibilities:

You will be the first technical hire working directly with the CEO. It is a great opportunity to take responsibility and participate in shaping technical and organizational processes in a startup:

• Build the first version of our robo-advisor platform end-to-end, from API integrations to user-facing dashboards

• Development of the front-end and back-end part for our suite of software products

• Contribute with your ideas and initiatives as part of our agile environment

• Continuously improve our technology stack and work processes. Participate in code reviews and team development

Your profile:

• Expertise in full-stack engineering, preferably Python and some FE framework like React or Angular

• Strong problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude

• Team player with a growth mindset. Ability to learn new concepts quickly, self- motivation, excellent communication skills and the ability to work responsibly in a dynamic environment

• Interest or experience in investing in financial markets is a strong plus

Technical requirements:

• Strong knowledge of Python and Java/TypeScript

• Experience with CI / CD (Github Actions, Teamcity, Jenkins) and version control systems

• Experience with Docker, general DevOps knowledge would be very nice to have

• Ability to turn design specs and templates into web applications

• Interest or experience in mobile development (or React Native) is a plus

• Interest or experience working with financial data and broker APIs is a plus
