Are you bordering on obsessive about writing compelling, consumer-focused content and having a love for all things wellness? Can you write precise and creative copy and great content marketing on tight deadlines? Then we may have the job for you!
Reporting to the Editor, you will be responsible for writing copy for the web for diverse brands, including copy for our website, social media, press releases, emails, product copy and blogs.
The successful candidate will have excellent writing and sub-editing skills, with at least one years' experience in a writing role.
In this role you will be:
Supporting the Editor to ensure a consistent tone of voice for the businesses we write for, ensuring all communications are brand-enhancing and consumer-focused.
Writing copy across all different channels including website, social media, press releases, emails, product copy and blogs.
Having a strong sense of commercial, brand and technical awareness, whilst keeping up to date with current trends.
Working closely with the web team to ensure all content is on-brand and up to date including home pages, banners and boxes, editorial features, community and brand areas of the sites.
Working alongside the Editor to create content for inbound marketing across all the brands.
Writing engaging and accurate product descriptions.
Similar experience in at least 1 year working in digital or magazine rolls.
A storyteller with great brand awareness and a very keen sense of humour.
Excellent writing, subbing and editing skills.
An ability to manage a heavy workload. The nature of the role involves working closely with various stakeholders across the business, so confident, approachable and considerate character is essential.
A meticulous eye for detail and a strong understanding of grammar and punctuation are necessities, in addition to the ability to edit your own work.
PC literate with working knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office.
