Role Overview
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our Sofia engineering team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, analysis, and development of advanced induction heating systems and solutions, with a focus on transformer design, magnetic circuit analysis, and matching network optimization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across our global facilities to deliver high-performance power conversion and heating solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and analyze transformers, matching networks, and magnetic circuits for induction heating systems
• Perform electrical circuit analysis and simulations to validate and optimize designs
• Develop and test prototypes, verifying performance against specifications
• Collaborate with mechanical and software engineering teams on integrated system design
• Create and maintain technical documentation including schematics, calculations, and test reports
• Support our sales team and customers with application testing, calculations and system analysis
• Contribute to continuous improvement of existing product designs
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics
• Strong understanding of electric circuits, electromagnetic theory, and circuit analysis techniques
• 3+ years of relevant professional experience
• Experience with transformer design, magnetic circuit analysis, and matching network design
• Proficiency with electrical simulation and design tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills in English (written and spoken)
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with thermal analysis and electromagnetic field simulations (FEA/FEM tools)
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in power electronics (inverters, converters, resonant circuits)
• Familiarity with induction heating principles and applications
