Senior Accountant

We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
The Senior Accountant is responsible for ensuring and maintaining full-cycle accounting, accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with accounting standards in a manufacturing environment. This role plays a key part in month-end close, cost accounting and inventory valuation.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting expertise with a business-oriented mindset and experience in complex, multinational manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain full-cycle accounting, tax compliance, and general accounting activities
• Payroll made by external company, only data to be provided
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures within set deadlines
• Prepare financial statements, annual reports, and management reports
• Coordinate internal and external audits and collaborate with auditors
• Monitor and record financial transactions in accordance with internal policies and local regulations
• Support internal collaboration across departments and communicate effectively with management and global teams
Knowledge And Skills
• 3–5 years of experience in full-cycle accounting
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Knowledge of local accounting standards; IFRS familiarity is an advantage
• Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Proactive, self-driven, and solution-oriented mindset
• Fluent written and spoken English
