PROCESS ENGINEER

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Optimize process and productivity through continuous improvement programs.
 Carry out technical analyses, pre-studies, and tests by evaluating the risks and constraints in order to propose/suggest technical solutions for improvement in line with the objectives of the site.
 Collaborate closely with operators and all departments (Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain, Commercial and Finance) for the commissioning of the industrial projects on site.
 Provide process documentation and operating instructions.
 Assume the role of project leader on specific projects. Lead and stir the working groups, define specifications, KPIs and milestones, assure timely reporting, etc.
 Organize and plan the commissioning of projects: site management in compliance with safety, orderliness, and hygiene standards.
 Working and taking responsibility for implementation of Excellence program at Production.
 Follow closely correct data entering at MES and take care about proper usage of the system.
 Play critical role as interface between suppliers (internal, external) and Plant Production department, manage cost and time constraints, perform risk assessments.
 Develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality.
 Develop culture of continuous learning and promote knowledge transfer by putting in place necessary technical training.
 Communicate effectively at the department level on all trials and projects.
 Propose and defend projects aimed at optimizing the processes and performance of production lines.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Master's degree in area of technology, mechanics, electromechanics, electrotechnics or equivalent by experience.
 Performance driven and continuous improvement champion.
 Strong technical skills in process improvements, analytical mindset, and intellectual curiosity.
 Experience managing multiple vendors toward common goals.
 Knowledge of SAP is an asset.
 Good project management skills.
 Demonstrated interpersonal and good communication skills.
 English language proficiency.
