Sports Trader

Job Overview:

We are seeking a sharp-minded and sports-savvy Sports Trader to join a new 
trading team. This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes sport, has a
keen eye for numbers, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. 

Key Responsibilities:
· Monitor sports events and adjust pricing models 
· Analyse market movements to manage risk and exposure.
· Collaborate with internal departments (Risk, Product, Marketing) to support
trading strategy.
· Work with third-party data feeds and internal tools to ensure accuracy and
speed in pricing and settlement.
· Provide feedback to enhance trading models, tools, and sportsbook
functionality.
· Keep up-to-date with sporting events, team news, player injuries, and relevant
developments.
· Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or a related field.
· Solid knowledge of sports, betting markets (particularly
in football, tennis, basketball, etc.).
· Strong numerical and analytical skills.
· Comfortable working in a live trading environment, including evenings,
weekends, and during key sporting events.
· Ability to make fast, accurate decisions under pressure.
· Previous experience in sports trading or a betting-related role preferred.
· Proficient in Excel and familiar with trading platforms and betting exchange
environments.
· Excellent English written and verbal skills.
