NOC Operator
ℹ️ Novatel, together with the other sister companies from the Magyar Telecom/Deutsche telecom group operates an extensive, fully owned, redundant network in Central and Eastern Europe. In our strategic routes we own the network down to the ducts and most of the regional operators use DF IRUs, collocation or wavelengths service delivered by our group. Via the cross-border interconnects to Macedonia, Greece and, especially Turkey, we are presently the main provider of high-capacity transit services to other regions.
ℹ️ Novatel NOC Operator is an entry level technical position, suitable for motivated individuals willing to learn and advance in the field of telecommunication technologies.
SUITABLE FOR:
- Job suitable for candidates with little or no experience
- Job suitable for candidates whо are learning Telecommunications and Networking, but still don't have a degree
- Job suitable for students, flexible shifts
- Ability to work in a 24x7 shift pattern
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Use network tools to monitor core network and customer services
- Proactively initiate incident management process
- Perform diagnostics on all IP network and customer faults
- Track the incident management of proactive and reactive issues
- Coordinate NOC activities with local Field Operations
- Management and Technical escalation of Trouble Tickets
MAIN REQUIREMENTS:
- General knowledge of telecom industry and standards
- Excellent knowledge of English
- Previous experience with Trouble Ticketing and network monitoring tools will be considered as an advantage
- IP, MPLS and routing knowledge will be considered as an advantage
