Principal Software Engineer

We are currently looking for a Principal Software Engineer for one of our clients.

You will join a highly skilled Development Team with a pivotal role in building high-performing and scalable Java-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities

•    Develop high-quality software aligned with architectural and non-functional requirements

•    Lead the implementation of complex software systems following industry standards and best practices

•    Mentor and support engineers, fostering continuous learning and professional development

•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Product Managers, and Designers to deliver technical solutions

•    Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintainability

•    Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying optimization opportunities across processes and services

•    Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating relevant advancements where applicable

•    Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges using deep knowledge of system architecture and algorithms

•    Participate in strategic planning sessions, contributing technical insights and breaking down large initiatives into achievable deliverables

•    Coordinate with architecture and operations teams to deliver effective technical solutions while balancing quality and time-to-market

Requirements

•    10+ years of hands-on experience as a Software Engineer

•    Proven experience building, deploying, and supporting enterprise-scale web applications

•    Strong hands-on experience with Java

•    Experience with JavaScript and modern MVC frameworks such as Angular or React is considered an advantage

•    Ability to quickly understand complex workflows and develop innovative technical solutions

•    Pragmatic mindset with the ability to balance technical excellence and business delivery needs

•    Strong problem-solving and communication skills
