Head of Frontend Development

VERO Digital Solutions OOD, found in 2018, is a provider of comprehensive digital services targeting the crafting, construction and infrastructure sector. The headquarter is located in Sofia, Bulgaria.
We are developing powerful, robust, native, mobile Applications for the challenging utilization on the construction sites all around the globe. These mobile Applications are accompanied with a versatile Web-Interface. All front-end applications are connected to our RESTful API.
To strengthen our team, we are seeking an experienced Head of Frontend Development with the passion, expertise, and leadership skills to lead our three frontend development teams (Web, iOS and Android) and develop innovative, user-friendly applications. Each team is equipped with a team-lead you will be heading in the future.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of frontend developers, which are subdivided into interdisciplinary teams
- Develop and implement a forward-thinking frontend strategy that aligns seamlessly with our business objectives
- Manage project planning, timelines, budgets and resource allocation to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products
- Select, evaluate and implement new technologies and frameworks to continually improve our products
- Ensure code quality by adhering to standards and monitoring overall application performance
- Foster close collaboration with other teams and departments to ensure optimal product development and delivery
- Proactively research and introduce innovative technologies to enhance development processes and end products
- Second Level-Support on customers issues
What You Should Bring:
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Development or a related field
- Several years of experience in frontend development
- Leadership or management experience in a technical team
- Profound knowledge of modern frontend technologies and frameworks for Web and Mobile Development
- Experience managing software projects and working with agile development methods
- Excellent communication skills especially in English and the ability to clearly articulate complex technical issues
- Strong analytical abilities and the capability to think and act entrepreneurially
- Willingness to travel 3-6 days per month worldwide
