Your Role
As an Application Engineer, you'll support hardware and software engineers around the globe to overcome any difficulties during design and debug phases via forum and email.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in the electronics or software industry
- Fluency in English
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized
- Strong commitment to user experience; your expertise and support will help users to build great products
- Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB design
- Good knowledge of C/C++, RTOS, and GitHub
- Knowledge of embedded Linux is a plus
- Any previous homemade designs would be considered as a plus.
Your Key Responsibilities
· Support hardware and software engineers via forum and email
- Continuously familiarize yourself with the features of SoC families designed and produced by one of the industry leaders
- Use technical documentation such as MCU/SoC user guides, datasheets, application notes, how-to guides, and FAQs
- Inspect customers’ schematics and source code snippets
- Collaborate internally with engineers, FAEs, product managers, and the documentation team
- Maintain support forum reply rate within acceptable limits
- Maintain high quality forum communication using friendly, supportive, and empathetic language
- Gather user feedback and communicate it to the documentation team
- Keep up with trends in IoT, AI/ML, ADAS, RTOS, etc.
