We are seeking a Data Architect to design and continuously refine the data foundations supporting our clients’ most business-critical platforms. This role combines strong hands-on architectural expertise with a strategic mindset, shaping data structures, governance models, and integration approaches that enable analytics, operational processes, and advanced AI/ML initiatives.
Job description:
- Define and drive the enterprise data architecture roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Establish data modeling, integration, governance, and metadata best practices across teams
- Architect modern Lakehouse platforms using Databricks, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and Airflow
- Design scalable batch and real-time pipelines, including bronze/silver/gold layering for analytics and AI/ML
- Lead data governance, quality, security initiatives, and mentor engineers as an architectural authority
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience designing enterprise-scale data architectures (lakehouse, data mesh, or hybrid models)
- Strong hands-on expertise with Databricks, Delta Lake, Spark/PySpark, and orchestration tools such as Airflow
- Advanced knowledge of conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling
- Solid understanding of data governance, lineage, and data quality practices
- Proven ability to design scalable batch and streaming data pipelines
- Strong SQL and Python skills for prototyping and architectural validation
- Familiarity with AWS data services (e.g. S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, Kinesis, Step Functions) is an advantage
- Professional level of English
