Purchasing Expert
For an international manufacturing company we are seeking a skilled Purchasing Expert. The Purchasing Expert will be responsible for managing the sourcing, negotiation, and acquisition of goods and services necessary for the company's operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent negotiation skills, and a proven track record of optimizing purchasing processes to achieve cost savings without sacrificing quality.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing agreements.
- Manage supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance to ensure adherence to contract terms and quality standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and requirements.
- Analyze market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities and expenses.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Stay abreast of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to procurement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics , or a related field.
- Proven experience working in a purchasing role, preferably in a manufacturing company.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Experience in preparing price quotations and negotiating with suppliers ;
- Experience in purchasing raw materials for production
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with purchasing software or ERP systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Good level of English B1-B2
