Sofia, Bulgaria | Hybrid Work Model

Ready to bring your accounting experience into a stable international environment with well-structured processes and a modern SSC setup? Our client, a well-established company in the aviation industry, is currently looking for an Accountant with German to join its team in Sofia. The position includes work across Accounts Payable activities, bank postings, accruals, and reporting processes, offering exposure to an international finance environment and collaboration with teams across different markets.

What you’ll be doing:
- Keeping financial operations running smoothly through accurate processing of bank postings and Accounts Payable transactions;
- Reviewing and validating travel expenses in line with internal policies and procedures;
- Supporting accrual postings and General Ledger activities as part of the wider accounting flow;
- Taking part in monthly and quarterly reporting activities and helping maintain accurate financial data;
- Assisting with documentation management and the implementation of new digital processes;
- Contributing ideas and support towards improving, streamlining, and digitalizing accounting workflows;
- Collaborating with international teams in a structured and fast-paced finance environment.

What would make you a great fit:
- You have around 1- 5 years of experience in accounting, finance operations, Accounts Payable, or an SSC/BPO environment and feel comfortable working with financial processes;
- Bank postings, accruals, and accounting flows don’t sound intimidating to you (and maybe are even your thing);
- You enjoy working in a structured environment where accuracy and organization actually matter;
- Proactive, reliable, and the type of person who likes keeping things under control and running smoothly;
- Experience with ERP/SAP systems would definitely earn you bonus points;
- And of course - you can confidently communicate in both German and English (B2+).
