Serving as first point of contact for claims registration
Handling and settlement of various insurance claims
Accepting or denying a claim based on all documentation
Contacting customers and other parties (i.e. employer, claimants, third parties)
Utilizing diary system pro-actively resolve outstanding issues
Ensuring that full and relevant data received via telephone, post, fax or e-mail is recorded accurately
Taking pro-active steps to effectively meet customer expectations
Ensuring that unit’s key performance targets
Work experience is not required
Fluency in English
Effective communication – verbal and in written
Ability to organize and prioritize effectively
